Lake Kariba Inns Siavonga, Siavonga

I'm genuinely torn about my stay at this hotel. The rooms were a mix of good and bad compared to the older villas I used to stay in, with an enormous and comfortable bed, excellent air-conditioning, and a lovely shower, but unfortunately, they were let down by stained towels and a moldy smell due to lack of airing. The service was a hit and miss; while Oleander was attentive, the rest seemed unsure of what they were doing and even implied we were not worth it. The location is a mixed bag too, fantastic for those who like to explore off the beaten track with beautiful views but a bit far from the Kariba Dam Wall. The dining experience was very disappointing, with limited and boring items on offer. The facilities were decent, though nothing exceptional.
